Apartment (PART THREE) - Prayer Beads (J Horror)

How is it ok to pray the Our Father prayer but not the "Glory be to the Father" or "Oh my Jesus prayer" ?

Jesus said to pray the Our Father prayer. But why is it Blasphemous to pray other prayers, or to count your prayers on prayer beads. Just because its not scriptural, its still prayer.

I don't know where you get your information. I guess different churches teach different things. As far as I know you're not suppose to engage in "vain repetitions" of Our Father, if you actually read the context of the scripture. That is just a sample prayer. You're SUPPOSED to come up with your own, from your own heart. Not just babble something you memorized that probably doesn't even apply to what you're praying for. And if you're REALLY doing it correctly, you should be doing it in secret, not for everyone else to see that you're praying. So how would they know WHAT prayer you're using?
