Violent windstorms with torrential ains that begin in the Atlantic Ocean are called hurrcanes. Such storms tat begin in the Pacific are called typhoons. If they begin in the Indian Ocean, they are called cyclones. What could you call a violent storm of wind and rain that began off the coast of Papua New Guinea? Of the coast of Bermuda? Off the coast of Madagascar?

Bermuda ( located in the Atlantic) would be a hurricane.
Papua New Guinea would be either a monsoon or cyclones
